The components of the work have been installed in response to the specificity and problems of the site/studio. Guests are requested to remove shoes/outdoor footwear as they enter the space. Engagement with the materials and structures is encouraged: you may touch the materials, go under the sculptures, sit, and lie down. While nothing has been permanently constructed, please do not displace and remove anything from the room.
The audio-visual archives have been recorded in the cities of Manila, Hong Kong, Spokane, and New York from different times (2013, 2014, 2019, 2024, 2025, 2026) and include various moments of gathering and assembly.
Visitors and companion archiving workshop participants may contribute their own clothing/textile and digital recordings (audio and video) to be added in the installation as part of the collective archive and placemaking.
